Warranty Terms and Conditions

Warranty period:
  • Petrol Vehicles: Up to 3 years from purchase date.

  • Diesel Vehicles: Up to 2 or 3 years depending on package purchased date

Warranty Registration

The warranty will be void if the battery is not registered within 30 days from the invoice date.

What does the warranty cover?

This warranty covers manufacturing defects and failure under normal use, including:

  • Internal short circuits.

  • Failure to hold charge.

  • Material or workmanship defects.

What does the warranty not cover?

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

1.Installation & Usage Issues

• Incorrect installation or reverse polarity
• Use in incompatible vehicles (always refer to the recommended engine CC and battery model)
• Use with faulty alternators or charging systems

Required charging system range:
• Alternator voltage 12V/24V: 13.8V – 14.8V / 27.6V – 29.6V
• Cranking voltage 12V/24V: > 9.6V / 19.2V

2. Unauthorized Modifications

• Modification, alteration, disassembly, or repair by unauthorized personnel

3. Unauthorized Usage

• Using the battery for any purpose outside its intended automotive application, including but not limited to:
• powering external devices or equipment,
• acting as a standalone power supply,
• use in solar, backup, marine, industrial, robotics, or any non-vehicle systems.

4. Vehicle Condition Issues

• Battery drained due to vehicle not used for long periods
• Parasitic drain from aftermarket accessories (audio, dashcam, GPS, alarm)

5. Physical or Environmental Damage

• External force, impact, cracks, deformation, accident.
• Water damage, oil contamination, rust, or corrosion caused during use
• High heat exposure
• Force majeure (natural disasters, riots, etc.)

How to claim warranty?

1. Contact an authorized Nanexx dealer or service center
Reach out to the nearest Nanexx representative to initiate your warranty claim.

2. Prepare the following documents/information:
• Original receipt or proof of purchase
• Battery serial number
• Vehicle registration number
• Clear photo of the battery installed in the vehicle

3. Repair or Replacement Policy
If the battery is found to be eligible for warranty coverage, Nanexx Energy will provide a repair or replacement or offer to purchase with discounted price at our discretion.

Nanexx Warranty Handling Options:

OPTION 1 — MORE THAN 1 YEAR REMAINING IN WARRANTY

A full diagnostic check is required (estimated 2–3 working days).

· For nearby customers:
Customers who are able to visit our shop will be provided with a temporary replacement battery (subject to availability) during the assessment period.

· For customers located far away:
Customers may ship the battery to Nanexx for inspection.
After testing/repair:
• If the battery is in good condition, it will be returned to the customer at Nanexx’s cost.
• For nearby customers, retrieval of the tested battery can be done at our shop.
• If the battery is faulty, Nanexx will provide a new replacement battery at no charge.

OPTION 2 — LESS THAN 1 YEAR REMAINING IN WARRANTY (PRO-RATED DISCOUNT OFFER)

Customers may choose to purchase a new battery at a discounted price, calculated using the pro-rated balance of the warranty.

Pro-Rated Formula=

(Remaining Warranty Months ÷ Total Warranty Months) × Battery Purchase Price

Example:

· Purchase price: RM590

· Warranty period: 36 months

· Fault occurs at Month 30 (6 months remaining)

· Rebate: 6 ÷ 36 × RM590 = RM98

Customer receives RM98 rebate toward the purchase of a new battery.
The new discounted price is RM492, and a new full warranty period will be issued.

OPTION 3 — LESS THAN 1 YEAR REMAINING IN WARRANTY (DIAGNOSTIC + DISCOUNT OFFER)

A full diagnostic check is required (estimated 2–3 working days).

· For nearby customers:
Temporary replacement battery (subject to availability) will be provided while testing is carried out.

· For far-away customers:
Customer may ship the battery to Nanexx for assessment.

After testing/repair:
• If the battery is in good working condition, it will be returned to the customer (shipping covered by Nanexx for remote customers).
• If the battery is faulty, the customer will be offered the option to purchase a new battery at a discounted pro-rated price based on the remaining warranty period.

Notes:
  • Warranty is non-transferable.

  • Replacement does not reset the warranty period.

  • Warranty starts from purchase date, not installation.

  • Nanexx reserves the right to revise these terms anytime.
